Pre-Order Policy
From time to time we will offer pre-orders for new products that we have secured stock of or for restocking products to secure prices and quantities. These pre-orders are subject to our pre-order policy. I endeavour to provide a release date for every pre-order product I list. ETA's (Estimated Time of Arrival) can be found on the product page of the pre-order. However, all ETA's are provided as an estimate and a subject to delay or change from time to time due to circumstances outside our control. I will endeavour to keep my customers up to date as quickly as possible with any news relating to their pre-orders is known. In case of any major delays customers will be contacted to confirm if new time frames are accepted or if they would like a full refund. ​ If your order contains either a pre-order product or multiple pre-orders with different ETA's with products currently in stock the whole order will be shipped at the last pre-order ETA is met, if you would like to split your order you would need to split the in stock items from the pre-order as we cannot do split orders. I cannot send to any address other than the one listed on the PayPal transaction. Delivery Options Domestic Shipping: We offer standard and express delivery options within Australia. At EC Hobbies, your satisfaction is our priority. If you're not completely happy with your purchase, we're here to help.
Eligibility for Returns
To be eligible for a return, your item must be:
Unused and in the same condition that you received it.
In its original packaging with original shrink wrap.
Returned within 7 days of the original purchase date.
Non-Returnable Items
Certain types of items cannot be returned. These include:
Gift cards
Downloadable software products
Customized or personalized items
Clearance or final sale items
Important Note: The above exclusions apply only to "change of mind" returns. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law for faulty, unsafe, or misrepresented products always apply, regardless of these exclusions.
How to Initiate a Return
To start a return, please follow these steps:
Contact our customer service team at info@echobbies.com.au or use the "Contact Us" form to request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Please include your order number in the subject line. This will help with speeding up the return process.
Once your return is approved, you will receive an RMA number and instructions on how to send your item back to us.
Clearly mark the RMA number on the outside of your package.
Ship the item back to the address provided with the RMA instructions. You will be responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning your item unless the return is due to our error (e.g., wrong item shipped, defective product). Shipping costs are non-refundable.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
Approved Refunds: If your return is approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 7 business days. (We will process refunds promptly once the returned item has been received and assessed. The timeframe for the refund to appear in your account may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.)
Rejected Refunds: If your return is rejected (e.g., item is not in its original condition), we will notify you and the item may be returned to you at your expense.
Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at info@echobbies.com.au and follow the return process to send your item back.
We do not offer exchange/refunds for change of mind.
